right,when you phone the show,you are asked, if you get on the show what do you want to ask the hm,then, if they like the question, and you are articulate, and not as thick as a brick,you are put on a maybe list.If you are picked you are put on standby ,and rung back,then you ask the prearranged question.if people were put straight through to a live show they could swear, make threats, make racist or homophobic comments etc etc
