I agree with some points already raised, I also think the PC brigade has had a hand in the shows demise.

Back in the beginning, it was new, it was fresh, it was going in a direction that hadn't really been ventured previously.

These points also apply to many shows we see getting axed over the years. Each show tries to better it's previous season in hope of giving the viewers something exciting to watch.

With BB we had housemates going in, knowing exactly how BB works and I believe BB tried to change it's format on many occasions to try and keep in front of the housemates who thought they had the game sussed.
