I am petrified of rats and i know if i was in that house and it was as Pete says 'pottering around' then if Mikey or Glyn wouldn't kill it for me then i'd run after the little twat with something to kill it.
Even if i weren't scared of them, you still wouldn't allow it to run around the kitchen/house/garden.
I remember we had one in our back yard a few years ago, in are old house and we had quite a few actually, me dad set a trap and then burnt it.
There the most vile creatures, well after Jayne that is.
