Today sources were denying reports of a budding romance between Katie and fellow contestant Matt Cardel.

The pair were 'caught in bed' together at the X Factor house in North London earlier this week, but insiders insist it was innocent.

A friend close to Katie told the Daily Mail: 'They were watching Family Guy on his bed on YouTube. Nothing happened.'
