I feel you should note one thing. Mario is not Ben's friend - for one reason - Ben made that choice - not Mario.
Ben wants nothing to do with Mario. Mario needs to accept that.
As for Mario himself, I find him to be childish in the extreme. Highly immature. Given the slight age differences between Mario and Ben, it is very clear who more emotionally developed, and who is the more rounded, well balanced person. That's my opinion, that's not abuse.
