I think you should save your Ben pity, its not needed, Ben has full respect for people who love and care for him, he loves and cares for them in return, or have you never listened to what one of his much loved friends has to say about him.A friend who is privvy to his life and shares the warmth and love and respect of Ben.
You are mistaking alliances within the house for that of friendship, I remember Ben quite openly stating on many occasions that he did not view the housemates as friends in the true sense of the word, indeed he said he could not forsee anything other than aqquaintance with them, only later on did he say that he thought he might stay in touch with Dave and Corin.
Ben is a people watcher, he picks up on the traits and charachteristics of those around him and brings it out in humour, its an observation and analysis and Mario was not the only one to be spoken of in that way, Its funny and the other housemates thought so too.If you watch The JJJ interview with Sam Dean you will even hear JJ saying that Ben was the most hilarious, funny and entertaining guy he had ever come across, and that his comments were down to the fact that Ben is just being Ben in his honesty.
Everyone who meets Ben seems to say the same thing, Bianca on Coach Trip is full of praise for him, her words, Amazing, funny, intelligent,. caring.
Now I want to ask you a question, you say that you would not be friends with someone who had bitched about you, what if you had a friend who was constantly sexually harrasing you,if all they talked about was what they wanted to do with you, and what if you tried to talk to this person about it but they would not do so but instead gave you the silent treatment, started sulking and being moody, would you accept it and carry on that friendship in the same vein, or would you talk to someone else about it, question what could be meant by their behaviour, I know what I would do.....and I certainly would not consider that person a friend.I would think them a stalker and call the police, and I would talk about them to my friends because I would need to have some sort of understanding of why they were doing it.
Lets not forget that Ben only turned on Mario because of Mario's behaviour towards him, not the other way round.
So I would like to hear your reply
