The problem was Mario's inability to deal with Ben's very gentle, clear and sensitive confirmation of his lack of interest in Mario. Had Mario been able to let go of it, Ben fans wouldn't continue to discuss it. But Mario was never able to get of it; it seems he still can't. His own actions and reactions in the house destroyed his chances and sullied the impression he made. To blame the object of his affections, whose identity for the purpose of this discussion is incidental, is churlish, childish and extremely counter productive. |

It's nice of you to put forward such a post given that you aren't a fan as such. I do agree with the points you have made though.
