The question is - why did they go to Sharon first in Series 4 when she had two acts in the Bottom Two? And why was there no fuss and screams of 'fix' back then? If it's happened before then what's the problem?
Part of the problem is the fact that it happened before. The implications of NOT leaving Cheryl go last were plain and obvious to a production team armed with the vote count. I completely fail to understand why anyone would believe that Dermot just took a notion to do the right to left, rushed judge tally. Entirely implausible. What's happened here is that the X Factor team has underestimated the intelligence of their viewers - only slightly in a lot of cases, mind
