(1) Having to contend with a total exageration of her lack of vocal ability. She can sing OK, but once a bandwagon starts it is easy to jump onto it and give her a good head pummelling. Even if her vocals were the best on Saturday, most on here would say it was crap. We never get any honest assessment from the Katie hate camp. I admitted that Treyc had a good sing off, even though I usually have to reach for the ear plugs in her case.

I liked her voice to start with but have come to realise that it has no strength to it and actually sounds croaky at times. And the fact she struggles to remember lyrics seems to suggest she doesnt put the hours in, so is a lazy singer not a good one.

(2) IMO her vocal is current and smooth. An easy listen. Not just me, Simon and Louis think the same.

Simon & Louis seem to change with the wind....and her vocal is never smooth....not by a long shot. Gravelly, croaky more like.

(3) Having to contend with negative press coverage.

Jeez..if she cant handle it now, with all the assistance and mollycoddling they get....then showbiz aint for her. And..she wants to relocate to the states where its a lot harder to impress the media if your a foreigner.

(4) Has got the Xfactor, and as most agree, one of the most interesting contenders.

That is a matter of opinion, and the majority public seem to disagree with you. Perhaps Ex-factor is her best option.

(5) Whether you like her or not she does make the show more interesting.

again..matter of opinion....im someone who wants to listening to good singers, not whining swearing desperados.
