I'd treat it like a holiday. Soak it up for a couple of weeks and then want to go home. I fear it'd be the latter or if the world hadn't ended by then you know you'd be nearer to it.

It would also cause nerve and tissue damage too right? Unless that's sorted if/when a bunch of people are re-animated they'll be rigid or disabled in some way
