You know like all cartoonish and just unrealistic in terms of graphics.
Maybe it's because I spent ages with GTA Games and other games made by Rockstar who never attempt to make any games like Final Fantasy and Halo.
So these all seem abit weird, I just watched that Fall Out New Vegas one on Youtube.
It looks pretty cool, it's like is that a mix between 'Real' and 'Alien'?
The trailer showed a club and these singers, and then it switched to the guy that looked like someone from Halo 3, Shooting a mechanical fly...?
What's that game really about? [Fall Out New Vegas].

I'm going to apologize in advance because this post is gonna be a bit long.
Fallout is set in an alternate universe.
In the Fallout world, the culture and ideas of the world never progressed past the 50s, and nor did science, the world stayed this way well into the 21st Century.
The U.S.A in Fallout also stayed paranoid and became increasingly militaristic and continued to stockpile nuclear bombs against its rival, Communist China.
The U.S and China's rivalry in Fallout is pretty much on par with how the U.S and the Soviet Union (Which still existed in the 21st century in the Fallout universe) were in the 1950s - 1980s. So the U.S and China had very frosty relations and were continually developing new technology to out-do each other, like new types of nuclear bombs, more powerful battle weapons etc.
As the nations of Fallout progressed into the 20th century, none of them had considered that fossil fuels would run out soon and all of the worlds nations continued consuming them at a rapid rate. The countries eventually started to bicker over what little oil there was left in the late 2040s, eventually leading to massive war between Europe (which had become one country) and the middle east that lasted for 8 long years. At the start of the 2050s the U.N began to collapse and was eventually disbanded in 2052. As the resource wars of the world ravaged on, China invaded Alaska for oil in 2066. The Americans and Chinese forces fought, and amidst this conflict, the U.S annexes Canada to become part of its nation. Eventually, the U.S managed to push out the Chinese forces in 2077, but that was not nearly as bad as what was going to happen.
By 2077, oil prices had spiralled out of control, standing at $1450 per gallon for regular petrol. As the year of 2077 wears on, the U.S claims the last known source of oil on Planet Earth which was under the pacific ocean. The American government turns the new oil rig into a base incase there was a massive attack against them. They also implement the plan: Project Safehouse. This was a plan to build several hundred massive nuclear fallout shelters or 'Vaults' which had been completed during 2077. These Vaults could hold thousands of people at any one time and were designed to protect the American public but some sinister experiments were being carried out on them, unbeknownst to the inhabitants.
Their fears about an attack rang true on October 23rd. The sky is filled with thousands of nuclear bombs. Air raid sirens sounded, but not many people headed the warning to get to shelter (the Vaults) as they thought it was just another drill. When they discovered the horror of nuclear war had come true, the Vault doors had already sealed and they were cast aside to experience the nuclear fire.
During 2 brief hours, the surface of the Earth had gone through untold changes. Roads were obliterated, plants and wildlife were destroyed and continents altered beyond belief. When the people inside the Vaults ventured out for the first time (usually after 20 years inside), they discovered a world rendered unrecognisable by the nuclear holocaust. Those lucky (or unlucky) souls that survived the turmoil outside of a vault were often hideously mutated, just like most other creatures on the surface of this new scorched planet.
Watch this if you cba to read all that lmao (I wouldn't blame you, sorry I'm a bit of a Fallout geek :L), its the Fallout 3 intro, it should explain most things:
(Skip to 1:49 if you just wanna hear what Fallout is about)
