well bit close to the bone for me
I was the supervisor running Kings Cross underground station on 7/7 what happened had its tole on my life and the lives of my Family.
I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder about 7 mths after the event had a little time off on request of doctor, had some counseling ect , and went back to work as supervisor at liverpool st group.
Then I got Diagnosed with cancer that ended up with chemo(all Clear now)
It all ended with me being pensioned off by london underground, I had 18 years on job got extra 10 years on pension and so got a 28 year pension.
Life is good but never once was there any compensation to me for my loss of career and more important the memories etched in my brain that dont go away.
I do have a medal that was presented by lul and that makes everything ok (NOT)
but hey Life is Good Im still and tahts all that matters.
it would be a good idea to have a fund to help affected persons perhaps the vast amount of Moscs could put some money each year in after all it was their People that caused this Carnage whether or not they agreed with the actions of the few.
all the best Paul Ex supervisor LUL
