Actually, given that Cher is female, she'd be a heroine.
However, that aside - people who put their lives at risk are given the tag 'hero'. Not some 2 bit chavvy, 17 year old bint who happens to be a contestant on a singing show.
It could be said that as far definition of the opposite of hero/heroine, Chavvy Cher would epitomise exactly that.
Fritzell ws in the papers everywhere ..... he wasn't a hero either.
Being in the papers doesn't mean a person is popular or a hero.
