This is twice in one year actually people have began a peaceful sitdown protest, and the police went and made it bigger than it had to be, resulting in a riot.
[When I say twice in a year, I mean in Belfast not sure about other places but I imagine it may be the same]

Oh right, I rarely agree with riots, especially in western democracies but I feel they can be usefull if used rarely - I don't think they are for the best in this case. There is something fascinating about riots and strikes I agree, even if they can be idiotic and irritating. Watching them is abit like watching Saw, it's quite horrible but you can help but watch.
Even if you dont like normal democracies I think you would like this Documentary, particularly this episode.

Great soundtrack to - and there is another episode before which focuses on the 70's when it was chaos - strikes everywhere, even grave diggers went on strike leaving coffins piling up. The working week was reduced to just 3 days (Five day weekend!), schools were closed because of power sortages... basically it was chaos.
