I did realise I had turned into a proper grown up though, when I nearly pissed myself with excitement when I saw a superduper frying pan reduced from £70 (who would??) to £35. Man, I love that pan!

when you buy your first house and your life revolves around soft furnishings, curtains, bedding, colour swatches ..... and then it's like the Forth Road Bridge thereafter !
when you start looking up recipes....and trying them out... that's a BAD sign!!
But it's great all the same!
