So what. The same could be said of a great majority of reality / entertainment shows.
That's the way the cookie crumbles. The man won, through votes - the public (regardless of which section), but the majority of the public watching the show who partook in voting: voted for him to win.
You don't think he deserved it, you're clearly in the minority.
