From the opinion of someone who highly respects but doesn't get the insane hype of both artists let me say that GaGa IS a more than worthy hier to Madge's throne and officialy or not took it a long, long time ago [Paparazzi was the breakthrough for me, as it was for many other people who valued the songwrititng over the hype. It is the best pop tune of the noughties, IMO].
And on topic, yes, TiBB is dying. I came back specifically out of some morbid fetish for being around during it's
eventful death but now I am doubting the part in italics.
