I just dont think you understand the main purpose of different TV shows, this is about the different qualities each candidate has and how they work together and ultimately, whos best for the job! Your so stuck in a BB frame of mind to think Stuart deserved to make the final let alone win just because he was controversial (I dont think thats the case with BB myself, but each to their own, more acceptable for BB that The Apprentice anyway!), which is quite sad. Obviously fiery ones like Stuart, Dan, Paloma, Melissa add another dimension to the show and produce rivalery/arguments but that still developed even without them - just not to a greater scale.

This is not a comedy or drama programme, its about talent and most people enjoy watching talent. Talent is 'entertainment'.
Sorry, but I'll say it again. Entertainment overrides any other purpose when it comes to TV.

Big Brother was an entertainment programme disguised as a social experiment. The X Factor is an entertainment programme disguised as a talent show. The Apprentice is an entertainment programme disguised as a business programme. There are different forms of entertainment, yes, such as people who watch Songs of Praise are entertained in their own way because it's programme targeted at a specific audience.

But even so, I can accept that Lord Sugar still has to give someone a job, so it has to be based on business to some extent. But even then...I still don't think Stella was the best candidate for the job. Liz was probably the best this year, let's be honest. Or Chris. But not Stella.

Erm...no. Because I have stated time and time again on this forum that the type of people I support are the type of people I would avoid in real life. Because I realise they're arrogant, nasty *****s, but I also recognise that they make good television. They're two very different worlds. I'm completely the opposite type of person to what these people are in real life. And no...I don't want to be like them either, before you say that. It's not about having a 'persona' at all, that's one of the most laughable insults I've ever read that has been directed at me. I can accept most insults, but that....LOL. Just stupid. I support them because they make good television. I really fail to understand how that is me trying to give myself a 'hard' persona, I mean...really?

Television and the real world are two very, very different things. I find it hard to comprehend how anyone could mix the two up.

It's like saying that because I would want to see a murder storyline in a soap, because it's entertaining, that I would also want to see my family/friends be murdered in real life...because that's entertaining. Do you see exactly what you're saying here? It's just stupid.
