On January 8, 2011, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and at least nine other persons were shot at a "Congress on Your Corner" event at a supermarket in Tucson, Arizona. The suspect was arrested. Giffords died later at University Medical Center in Tucson.
Maybe not a celeb as we see but still if you were American would apply....
