I reckon she probably will die, they won't recast her. Eastenders hardly ever does that with major characters, although I think several times they should've done, for particular episodes, (eg when former characters repeatedly don't bother to come back for family member's weddings and funerals it gets a bit stupid!) She's a very tragic character, I think it'd be fitting for her to take her own life.
