No. It's one of the many things people 'believe' just because they feel like it. It's far easier and far more probable to just not believe in it. Plus anyone who thinks all the bad/greedy/etc get what they deserve eventually are living in a fantasy land. Most ruthless people thrive in this world. Most of the humble, 'decent' fairys who believe in karma stay in the same place in life devouring whatever cheap pop spitiruality comes their way in the form of gossip magazines, Living TV productions and fortune cookies.

Usually using karma itself to justify it!
