Maybe that is your experience of Muslim people and I'm sorry that you feel that way, but what Baroness Warsi is saying is that the media are very flippant when discussing Muslims and help to perpetuate these negative connotations; causing people such as yourself to make statements like that without even questioning that they might be controversial and prejudiced.
Those comments I made are true. Because I live in a city with a very high population of Muslims and I live in a Muslim area. I've seen it happen through the years, they are by my own personal experience.
It's mostly every day life for people, as has been said before, the Muslim community needs to make an effort as well, it needs to work both ways. Why do we never hear about the Jews in the media yet they live a lot like Muslims in the way they segregate themselves, there must be something different within the Muslim community for it to happen. It's also a mix of over PC people giving Muslims privilegdes and changing things that they didn't even ask for.
Maybe she should just get to the root of it, the people who actually write these stories? Instead of making a big song and dance with a speech and probably ending up causing muslims more aggro.
