ANOTHER X Factor contestant is set to land a record deal - moody singer Aiden Grimshaw.
The 17-year-old has been told he will sign to Simon Cowell's Syco label - alongside Cher Lloyd, winner Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson.
But the deal comes with strings attached - he must impress fans who will be watching him on the upcoming X Factor Live tour.
Despite coming only ninth in last year's competition, he was added to the line-up at show guru Simon's behest.
The tour kicks off next month in Birmingham.
A source revealed: "This record deal is Aiden's to lose.
"If he can keep the fans happy he'll join his mate Matt Cardle as one of Simon's chosen few."
But his deal is bound to annoy other singers on the ITV show who survived longer than him.
