But EastEnders caters for a younger audience aswell as a older audience aswell which is why it's important to keep the characters new and young.

Well they're bringing in Chris Fountain (Hollyoaks) to play the Duckworth's grandkid, then theres Xin, a student character, then Faye, the Windasses adoptive kid, Corrie has young characters too
