You'd want to be really good at English as a natural starting point for a lot of this. They are looking for right brained people with creativity and a flair for visual imagery and communicating ideas.

True what you've said - in those type of fields, its more a case of who you know a lot of the time to get you 'into it get you a foot in the door' - once you get in, you get the chance to shine, and after thatn, there are so many avenues that can lead off from it.
