Ashleyne did lead Spiral along at the start by lying on top of him etc. She is being clear now that she is not interested and Spiral should take the hint! I think Spiral knows nothing will happen but he enjoys flirting with Ashleyne - he just needs to learn to be more subtle about it or better yet find another way of amusing himself - like playing some more pranks!
