My dad found it and I got battered stupid - he clearly thought I'd been out slagging it up. 
On the plus side: the lad who had given me it, heard about what happened, told his father, who then went mental and went around to 'see' my own father....... as a result, me and the lad ended up dating for years after it!  (funny, we are still in touch after all these years as well)

It's cool that you're still in touch. I'm only in touch with 2 girl friends from school, no boys. There was one dream boat called Lance Smith. Sigh wonder how he is now.

These are good. Can you imagine if these had become/become v-day lingo? A guy hands his girlfriend a rose and he's like "here... swalk." Or while handing the rose "Italy" "Oh my god you're taking me to Italy?"
