It's not corrupt in that sort of way though, Fixing is always involved ( If you can call it that ).. a lot of trainers have 2/3 horses in one race and let the 100/1 shot go on and set the pace for the other horse to follow...to me it's good tactics rather then a fix they wouldn't needlessly Kill horses that make money for them and the horses in that race had the potential to go on headline bigger races in the future,
You always see Jockeys not whipping the horse at all though throughout the whole race leading easily and just holding the horse back and just letting other horses past at the line...
