Hollyoaks Later, the edgier side of the teen drama, will return to E4 for a fourth series in the autumn.
The 5 x 60-minute series will be stripped across a week in the 9pm slot. It will be produced by All3Media-owned Lime Pictures.
C4 commissioning editor Roberto Troni said: “Hollyoaks Later is a unique brand extension that gives E4 audiences a new perspective on the main drama. As the only British soap specifically aimed at young audiences, Hollyoaks is constantly evolving, growing and exploring new ideas.”
Claire Fryer will produce the series with Tony Wood and Carolyn Reynolds as executive producers.
Wood said: “We’re taking some of Hollyoaks most loved characters and putting them in romantic, funny and dangerous situations and we hope viewers will love the result.”
