“But if Katie decided she wanted to live eight hours away it would make things a whole lot more complicated. Pete wants the children to feel settled in the UK after everything that has happened since he and Katie split.” It is understood the mum-of-three, 32, will keep a home in the UK. She currently owns a mansion in Surrey but wants a more permanent base in America so she can be there for longer periods while she tries to make her name in Tinseltown. So far she has viewed seven properties, with the cheapest on the market for £7.5million.
