I think I have a much stronger affinity for the early 19th century (Beethoven, Schubert and Weber's era) than later on, same goes for their fashion of that time, before the prudish Victorians came along.

No matter that they act like senile 12-year-olds on the Today programme website - smoking illegal fags to look tough and cool.
