Mark Everett had roles on television shows like "Galactica 1980," "Highway to Heaven," and "Trapper John, M.D." The child actor appeared in the short-lived television series "Kung Fu: The Next Generation" with Brandon Lee. Everett also appeared in the feature films "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" and Edward James Olmos' powerful drama "Stand And Deliver."
But Manuel Benitez, a.k.a. Mark Everett saw no more acting roles once he left his teen years. His part in "Stand And Deliver" would be his last. However, Benitez would appear on television again, but this time it would be as himself.
Manuel Benitez (Mark Everett) was profiled on "America's Most Wanted" in early 2008 because of his status on the FBI's most wanted list. His profile made two appearances on the show.
