Yeah its probably broken from the washing. You shouldn't wash electricals with liquids ever. (put the phone in a tub of raw rice , it takes moisture out of phone but since you didn't do it straight away it will probably be dead already)

Id go to the shop. When my iphone broke apple replaced it on the spot but i don't know how long the shop you got it from would replace it.
However if you do, don't tell them you wash it or they will say its your fault and you'll have to buy another one.
