Something similar happened to me last year.
I was crossing the road near my house on the way home from school and the predestrian lights were green, I got halfway and BAM this double decker bus drives right in front of me. It almost got me. I was about 5/6 inches away. I was so scared. Not only because he drove out in front of me but because he did it when my crossing lights were green.
Absolute knob that bus driver was.
