Prefecting in my school is like totally retarded.
First of all, about 3 quarters of Year 11 are prefects so there are like too many of us.
Secondly our 'jobs' were to stand my doors of certain buildings before school and during lunch/break to stop people entering and ****. No one actually bothered to stop people lmfao.
And about 2 months after we were allocated posts for prefect duty, the novelty had worn off and everyone stopped doing it. That and the Senior Prefects stopped bothering on checking if we were doing our jobs.
I was a prefect but me and my friend never bothered to sign up, then we got jealous of everyone getting green badges so we went to see our head of year and just said we weren't there when they were given out. She just said okay, had us sign our names on a form and gave us badges. Then everyone was like wtf you weren't there when they were given out and we were like:
