Hardly a shock. Cheryl's a tomboy, she doesn't get on well with other females from what I've seen of her over the years; her chemistry with Dannii on screen is non-existent unless they're conspiring against Jamiroquai together, so I'm inclined to believe that she had eff all chemistry with Paula Abdul on screen and they kicked Cheryl because she's the new kid on the block. America wouldn't warm to somebody interfering with Simon/Paula's chemistry, especially not some talent show spawned British woman with a fairly impossible to understand accent to an untrained ear.

I enjoy the X Factor, it's the only program I really bother turning the TV on to watch, but I think it'll die a death now that Simon Cowell's set in motion the US X Factor, he's been off the boil for the past year, I think he's lost his touch.
