Germaine Greer is a ridiculous old harridan. She suffers from being a woman instead of enjoying it. It's perfectly possible to be a feminist while still liking men and while wearing great shoes. Why is it traditional feminists always wear such bloody ugly shoes...? She's completely out of touch and her ideas have always been extreme and confrontational. I've tried a couple of times to read The Female Eunuch but never made it past chapter two. Mainly because it's whiney, bitter, self-indulgent drivel. The work of a woman who's never enjoyed... well... anything, and one who will never find anything to her liking.
