Rachel Stevens has been approached for the next series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Producers hope that the pop singer will repeat the success of former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona, who won the show in 2004.
An insider told The People, "Rachel will be a coup for the show because she will be popular with all generations. The show would attract fans of her music but she's also a regular pin-up in men's magazines and will appeal to blokes of all ages.
"Kerry was a real hit because she came over so well and it is hoped Rachel will be the same. You never know, she may find real romance like Jordan did with Peter Andre."
Other celebrities in talks to join the show include model Michelle Marsh, singer Lee Ryan, Sven's lover Nancy Dell'olio and Love Island's Calum Best.
An ITV spokesman said, "We can't confirm anything. We've approached loads of people."
