Interesting article BB made by the BBC would have been a completely different article. For instance there could not have been the wall to wall coverage because the mainstream viewer would be complaining "that's not what we pay our licence fee for".

Channel 4 and Endemol have made mistakes as we have all said, but at least those people who dont have digital tv can still get to see hours of BB if they want to, whereas those people who really liked Fame Academy had restricted access if they only had BBC1.
