X Factor judge Louis Walsh has seemingly let slip that former finalists Jedward will be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother 2011 on Channel 5 later this month. Rumours about the tuneless twins taking part have been going on for months, with the boys recently denying any involvement.
However speaking at the final auditions in Liverpool yesterday, Louis seemed to let slip the pair would be entering the house in August in a deal speculated to be worth £1 million.
A inside source at the auditions told ******** last night: “Louis was just chatting casually with the warm up act before the show started, when someone asked how Jedward were getting on – to laughs from the crowd.
“Clearly wanting to show that the pair are still raking it in however, the Irish music mogul let slip that they’d be entering Big Brother later this year.”
“They said Jedward on the show would be ‘genius’ but the crowd didn’t sound convinced. There was more interest in what the judges were drinking.”
Still, a far better signing than Natasha Giggs….
