Wannabe lovers Nikki and Pete were united again tonight - in a sonic sense anyway!


As Nikki joined Lea and Richard to pour out their feelings in the Diary Room, it wasn't long before Pete's ear was firmly glued to the door on the other side. And he couldn't contain his excitement.

The Brighton boy was first made aware of their presence by Glyn. The 18-year old was loitering outside the Diary Room, minding his own business, when he heard Nikki cry "I love you Pete!"

"Shout something back to her!" urged Glyn, as he summoned the stud muffin over. Pete was over in a shot, cementing his ear to the door to confirm the occupants.

"Love you Nik! Miaow!" he yelled.

The resulting screams from the ecstatic trio may well have cracked glass back in Glyn's village.

"Eesamanna!" hollered Pete, to more whoops of delight from behind the door.

Before the delirious communing could continue, Pete was told to move away by Big Brother, leaving Nikki, Dickie and Dolly to scoop their jaws up from the floor.

Pete headed straight to bed, where he could hardly suppress the huge grin that consumed his face.

Later on, the House Next Door family prized some red tiles from the wall to create a visual tribute to the beloved boy. Tragically, the plan was doomed from the start:

"We don't have enough tiles to spell Pete," realised Richard.

But lovestruck Nikki wasn't gonna let that stop her. "Let's make a heart," she gushed.

What can we say?! It's been emotional...
