PRESS RELEASE: Nomination Details
CAMERON, FEDERICO AND JON FACE THIS WEEK’S BIG BROTHER DOUBLE EVICTION
Yesterday, the nine remaining Big Brother housemates received the shock news that this week, in a change to normal procedure, TWO housemates will be evicted from the Big Brother house this Friday 20 June. As usual, the housemates were each called to the Diary Room in alphabetical order, to nominate the two housemates they most want to be evicted from the house this week.
This week three people face eviction. They are Cameron (4 votes), Federico (5 votes), and Jon (5 votes). This is the first week that only male housemates have been facing eviction. On hearing the news, Jon said “bloody hell…I don’t know how I’d react if I wasn’t nominated” and Ray responded by saying “I’m in shock”. Steph turned to Cameron and said “how does it feel…what’s it like you virgin you?” Cameron said, “I feel quite excited, it’s like winning a prize…I’m actually shaking.” Federico did not react but soon left the group and went to the bedroom.
It is now up to the public to decide who goes. The first of this week’s two housemates chosen for eviction will be told of his impending departure from the house on Friday 13 June during the 8.30pm live show, giving them just over an hour to pack their possessions and say their goodbyes. The second of this week’s evicted housemates will be told of his impending departure at the end of the 10pm show and will then leave the house at approximately 11.15pm.
Whilst the housemates do not know how each housemate actually voted in the privacy of the diary room, we can divulge who voted for who…
Cameron Jon and Federico
Federico Tania and Cameron
Gos Federico and Scott
Jon Federico and Ray
Nush Federico and Jon
Ray Jon and Cameron
Scott Jon and Cameron
Steph Federico and Ray
Tania Cameron and Jon
Each housemate received the following number of nominations this week:
Cameron 4
Federico 5
Gos 0
Jon 5
Nush 0
Ray 2
Scott 1
Steph 0
Tania 1
The nominations tally after Three rounds of eviction nominations are as follows:
Cameron 7
Federico 12
Gos 0
Jon 21
Nush 1
Ray 5
Scott 5
Steph 3
Tania 3
Gos is still the only housemate who has not received any nominations yet. This week the majority of the housemates chose to nominate boys as they are worried about the rapidly decreasing number of girls in the house and how upset the girls have been about the evictions. Tania is the only girl to receive a nomination this week.
Each housemate has to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees, and failure to do so could result in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:
Cameron voted for Jon because “I don’t think everything that goes wrong in the house is a design fault…the criticism aspect bugs me…I don’t like the negative aspect to many things that go on in the house.” He nominated Federico because “I don’t think his betting percentage matches up to the effort he puts into the task.”
Federico voted for Tania “mainly because of Saturday night in the reward room and the dampener she put on the affair.” He nominated Cameron because “at times he switches from being prudish to a little bit fatherly…I find it hard to relate to him.”
Gos voted for Federico because of “some of the stuff he said last week about the girls…I think that was a little bit out of order.” He nominated Scott because “he overanalyses things a bit…and he can get a bit annoying.”
Jon said he wants to “restore balance to the house” so voted for Federico because “he stated quite openly and honestly that it doesn’t matter to him if he stays or goes and he’d like to equal my number of nominations so I say give him a chance,” and because “he discusses quite confrontational topics. Some of those topics of conversation have rubbed some people up in the house…it doesn’t create a nice atmostphere.” He nominated Ray because “Ray does tease some members of the household and Tania in particular has been on the end of his teasing…if somone’s not laughing anymore then it’s time to stop.”
Nush voted for Federico because “whenever I go to the toilet after him he leaves dark frothy pee in the toilet and doesn’t flush and leaves the toilet seat up…it’s yucky…I tread in his sprinkles.” She nominated Jon because “we don’t sit and talk together very often,” and “he does no cooking.”
Ray voted for Jon because “sometimes when we’re having conversations as a group…when Jon doesn’t agree with (the girls) he’ll shout them down and they kind of look at him as if to say ‘give us a break’.” He nominated Cameron because “when we got the Chinese, we’d all had a couple of drinks and were messing about and Cameron never really got involved and he was looking at us disapprovingly and thought we were being childish.”
Scott voted for Jon because “I don’t feel I have a laugh I have a laugh with Jon.” He nominated Cameron because “Cameron doesn’t like a laugh…he doesn’t get involved when we’re being risque.”
Steph voted for Federico because when choosing how much to gamble on this week’s shopping, “he wanted to bet 100% and I think he would have been willing to let one housemate go into the Diary Room and say 100% when that’s not what this group wanted.” She nominated Ray because “of his fiery nature and the way he flares up.”
Tania voted for Cameron because “I enjoy myself or have more fun with the other housemates.” She nominated Jon because he’s “overpowering too much with the tasks.”
