Although they're not Hollywood, they do have a rather large fanbase behind them. Yes, that fanbase is mostly teenage girls, but it's still a large fanbase regardless. They could bump up the ratings a little bit anyway. They've managed to sell out quite a few big venues on their tour at the moment. There's definitely worse people they could have got on the show. (ie Sue Katona... I don't see any Sue Katona fans online!
