yes, yes it does. I really don't understand why the fans are so patient with Wenger - they keep spouting the usual "unbeaten season, 3 league wins" (or whatever it is, I've forgotten
) but that was over 6 years ago now. We spend a whole summer to negotiate one signing and even then it tends to be an outgoing one, and as lovely as some of the youngsters we've secured have been, there've also been some big letdowns - Walcott in particular.
And then there's all of the others who aren't ever given a chance. I think Carlos Vela had the potential to be big but now he's just flung out on loan and left to dry... in favour of Chamakh? Please.
We
need a reliable goalkeeper. That is, imo, our primary concern. The midfield and defence are relatively okay (but I would rather have a big name defender too), and we could do with someone of Arshavin and van Persie's calibre up front.
