I watched Hardcore Justice too and it was awful. Like being forced to watch your parents fuck awful. TNA are very much a TV company. PPV doesn't matter to them at all. They do awful buyrates and the cards don't feel that different to a regular episode of the TV show because they are still for the most part in that godforsaken soundstage that make them look rank amateur.
Most of the matches were lifeless and the traditional Vince Russo 'someone comes down with a steel chair now' finish was dull as hell. Everything they do has a been there, done that feeling. Been there, done that on an episode of Raw Is War in 1999.
I'm all for opinions but to call it the best show of the year reeks of fanboyism. It simply was not in any way even close to being the best show of the year.
