Regarding the letter. Imogen won a chance to win a letter for someone. Everyone bar Pete and Jennie had already received a letter and as Pete had been away from his family longer. Imogen choose Pete.

Regarding Nikki. Pete cant be blamed for that. If Richard hadn't kept forcing his opinion and going on about Nikki. Ash and Jennie would have supported Lea and Pete liking both would have gone with the majority. But Richard kept forcing his opinion on others so they didn't have time to discuss Lea.
