According to Dermot on BBLB, she did seem to accentuate her normal mannerisms because she had found out they were originally considered "funny" so could be putting on a "performance"
So people could accuse her of being false for giving them what she thought they wanted. (She can not really win)
From what I saw of her, she is not the sharpest tool in the box, (Are any of them??), so is unable to be subtle.
