Jedward actually got a little bit of notice outside the UK. I think there might have been a few clips of them in the USA version of the show and a few internet youtube views.
But you are right on - nobody outside the UK knows what a Kerry Katona is.

It just so happened one of the US channels aired a few of the UK 'Gypsy' reality TV episodes and I think it caught on with Americans .. a few friends were asking me about it lol
Paddy was in one episode for some reason (not a central figure) but you know.. of anyone he could actually become famous in the USA

Is this David Hasselhoff's wife? He is actually quite famous worldwide. Often celebrity wives become famous in their own right (Sharon Osbourne or Linda Hogan),
but,
I have never heard or seen her in anything (not reality shows, or anything) in any USA media.

I did think she looked familiar and Coronation Street is surprisingly well known in North America but I couldn't have placed her. I still can't remember her role sorry to say lol

That reminds me of Tara Reid. For some reason that name is mentioned on every gossip tabloid program, radio gossip.. for no good reason I know the name... but i think this is the first time I connected the face to the name heh.
I would say - with the money allegedly spent on this remake I am a little surprised they couldn't find a few more big names?
Bobby Brown is notorious in the USA although I can't think of anything he has done recently heh.
I think he just gets arrested or has a drug overdose once every few years.
