You're spot on. That what they have done in the past and that is what they could do in the future. Remember they took the interviews inside because of the problems they have had with the crowd in the past.
You can't win by thinking you can bully the company into submission it doesn't work. I remember all the out cry about BB5 and fight night and the problems they had on the channel 4 forum. They just banned everyone that disagreed with the company line. Channel 5 will just do the same thing.
It's better to take an more subtle but organised approach to get them to listen.
Finally it has occurred to me that they just don't have the computing and networking infrastructure to put on a live feed, nor the money to put it in place. If it is going to cost them more to provide a feed than they will make then there won't be a feed. if that is the case then there won't be one. They are not a public service they are a company that is trying to make a profit.
