I though she made a fool of herself, her husband and of her marriage when she laughed at the fact that he had asked her not to do BB, but she had done it anyway.

I found her VT embarrassing: She actually came across as resentful towards her husband, almost mocking him. Divorce wouldn't surprise me to be honest, they obviously aren't that a close couple.

I have to agree, she's not being independent, just ersit!
